We Will Tell You What It Costs Before You Fall in Love With It.
Kitchen, bath and whole-home renovation across the Twin Cities. Fixed-price contracts, published cost ranges, and a schedule we actually hold to.
What We Build
We take on a limited number of projects each year so that the same lead carpenter stays on your job from demolition to punch list.

Kitchens
Layout changes, custom cabinetry, structural openings and full electrical and plumbing rework. Most kitchens run nine to thirteen weeks on site.

Baths
Full gut renovations including waterproofing done properly, which is the part that fails first when it is rushed. Six to nine weeks typical.

Whole Home & Additions
Additions, main-floor reconfigurations and full-house renovations. These need architectural drawings and permits, and we manage both.

Almost no contractor puts numbers on a website. The result is homeowners spending months designing a kitchen they were never going to be able to afford. These are our genuine Twin Cities ranges.
What Actually Moves the Number
Relocating a sink or removing a bearing wall adds $6,000 to $18,000 once structural and permit work is included.
Stock to semi-custom to full custom roughly doubles at each step. This is usually the largest single line in a kitchen.
Knob-and-tube wiring, galvanised supply lines and undersized panels are common in pre-1960 Minneapolis homes. We budget a contingency and show you it.
Recent Projects
Every project below was built by our own crew. Homeowners are available as references, and we will give you the full budget on request.

Linden Hills Kitchen
1926 bungalow. Removed a bearing wall, relocated plumbing and rebuilt the panel. Knob-and-tube found behind the north wall, quoted from contingency.

Edina Galley Rebuild
Same footprint, semi-custom cabinetry and quartz. Proof that keeping the layout is where most of the savings actually live.

St. Louis Park Main Floor
Full main-floor reconfiguration with a rear addition. Architectural drawings, permits and structural engineering managed by us.
How a Fieldhouse Project Runs
Five stages, and you know the fixed price before demolition day.
Consultation
Ninety minutes in your home. We discuss scope and give you an honest budget band before anyone draws anything.
Design
Paid design phase with drawings, selections and a detailed specification. Credited against the build if you proceed.
Fixed Contract
One number, itemised, with an explicit contingency for what is behind the walls. It does not move unless you change scope.
Build
Same lead carpenter throughout. Weekly written updates, dust containment, and the site left broom-clean each Friday.
Punch & Warranty
We walk it with you, fix the list, then back the workmanship for three years in writing.
The Contractor Problems We Removed Deliberately
- The disappearing crewWe run two projects at a time, not nine. Your lead carpenter is on site daily, not rotating between jobs across the metro.
- The moving priceFixed-price contracts with a written contingency. Change orders exist only when you change the scope, and you sign each one.
- The silent weeksA written update every Friday with photos, what is next, and any decision we need from you.
- The vanishing warrantyThree years on workmanship, honoured by the company that did the work, which has been at the same address since 2009.
What Homeowners Say
“They told us at the first meeting that our budget would not buy the kitchen we had pinned. Three other contractors let us design it anyway and then quoted double.”
Erin & Matt D.Linden Hills, MN“Knob-and-tube behind the wall, which is exactly what the contingency line was for. Cost was already agreed. No panic, no renegotiation.”
Sandra K.Edina, MN“Nineteen weeks, finished two days early, and the Friday updates meant we never once had to chase anyone for information.”
